BOSTON – After splitting its first two contests of 2016, the Suffolk women's tennis team takes to the road for five straight matches and makes its first stop at Regis Saturday, Sept. 10 for a 12 p.m. contest.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's tennis team picked up its first win of the season Thursday night as the Rams downed Salve Regina, 6-3, at the Winchester Indoor Lawn Tennis Center.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk's top two racquets in co-captains Aidiana Sagyndykova and Valentina Medina continued to prove their prowess on the clay for the Rams. 

Medina is undefeated in both singles and doubles play this season, while Sagyndykova is perfect on the singles court and 1-1 in doubles action. The pair has split time as Suffolk's ace. Freshman Danyly Medou joins the twosome in singles perfection. 

PROWL ON THE PRIDE
Regis picked up an 8-1 win over Eastern Nazarene in the season opener and lost to Johnson & Wales by an identical score to head into the weekend 1-1. 

Three different players are 1-1 in singles for the pride in Amy DiPace, Ariana McCormak and Carly Scanlon. McCormak plays on court three, while DiPace and Scanlon have switched roles in the bottom of the line-up for the Pride. Regis' ace, Erica Murphy, is 0-2 on the year. 

In doubles, the team of DiPace and Emily Rice, who have played exclusively at No. 3, are 2-0.

Suffolk remains on the road for Monday, Sept. 12 when it visits Roger Williams.
