BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to Emmanuel Wednesday night at Roberto Clemente Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints found the back of the net in each half, while the Rams were limited to just six shots total, five on target, with none connecting. 

Megan Mastrangelo came off the bench and put Emmanuel on the scoreboard with an unassisted strike in the 34th minute.

After a tightly contested second, Kayla Generis stretched the Saints cushion to two goals with just under nine minutes remaining thanks to a feed from Kaylin Deschenes.

  • Emmanuel held the edge in shots, 16-6, while both teams had two corner kicks.

  • With her name appearing in the starting lineup tonight, Jennifer Martin ties the record for most games started (65) in Suffolk women's soccer history set by Gabrielle Balestrier in 2013. Overall, Martin has appeared in 68 games throughout her career.
