BOSTON – The Suffolk women's soccer team will be in front of its home crowd for its next two contests as the Rams open the homestand with a midweek match against GNAC powerhouse Lasell Wednesday, Sept. 27. First kick at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
A late tally by the Mustangs could not be overcome by Suffolk women's soccer as the Rams fell on the wrong side of a 1-0 decision to Mount Ida at Alumni Field Saturday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk's last three contests have been decided by one goal. The Rams earned the victory at Regis in overtime, but has dropped back-to-back games, a 2-1 loss to Simmons and a 1-0 setback at Mt. Ida to slip to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in league play. 

The Rams have depended on their defense for their pair of wins as the blue-and-gold's offense has been limited to just six goals through six games. Caleigh O'Brien is the only player to record multiple goals on the season as the freshman owns two for a team-high five points. Jennifer Martin, Erika Nelson, Alexandra Nagri and Paola Ortez each have one marker on their stat lines. 

Julia Fieldsend and Kirsten Weiker have split time in net this season. Fieldsend, a sophomore, carries a team-best 2.14 goals against average, allowing seven strikes, for a .816 save percentage. Weiker, meanwhile, owns a 3.29 goals against average and a .710 save percentage. Both Suffolk keepers are 1-2-0 on the year.

LASERS LOOK
Lasell, who has captured the conference crown in each of the past seven years, continues to be the top threat amongst the league. The Lasers, who are 4-3 overall and undefeated, 4-0, against their conference counterparts, ride a two-game win streak into Wednesday's contest. The back-to-back wins were conference shutouts as Lasell blanked Albertus Magnus, 1-0, and Rivier, 6-0. 

Carly Zdankek's 13 points on six goals and one assist anchors Lasell's 18 goal offense. Erika Badger and Casey Meissner each own seven points. Badger has scored twice and dished out three assists, while Meissner has connected for three goals and set up one. 

Sarah LaClair is the go-to goalie for the Lasers. She brings in a 1.35 goals against average, giving up just nine goals this season for a .780 save percentage.

• Since the series began in 2007, Suffolk remains winless versus Lasell, trailing the all-time series, 0-14.
• The Rams have only scored six goals in the 14 meetings and have never scored more than once in a single out.
