BOSTON – Riding a three-game win streak, the Suffolk women's soccer team takes its talents on the road as the Rams travel to Regis Thursday, Sept. 15 for a 6:30 p.m. non-conference contest at Regis Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's soccer team earned its third straight shutout Sept. 10 as the Rams downed Anna Maria, 5-0, in their GNAC opener at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk has rolled since its season opening 4-0 setback to WPI with the Rams shutting out Eastern Nazarene (1-0), Wheelock (9-0) and Anna Maria (5-0).

Atop the league standings at 3-1 and 1-0, the Rams offense also ranks first with 15 goals and 10 assists.  Jennifer Martin and Alexandra Nagri not only sit one and two on the squad in scoring, but hold down the same spots amongst the conference ranks. When it comes to points Suffolk's junior twosome leads the way once again. Thanks to her six scores Martin has compiled 12 points, while Nagri has raked up nine on four goals and one handout. 

Defensively, Suffolk has allowed the fewest goals (4) along with four other teams thanks to three shutouts. Kirsten Weiker's two victories came against the Lions and AMCATS. The sophomore has 25 saves, a .893 save percentage, which is good for second in the league, and boasts the third-best goals-against average (1.04). 

PROWL ON THE PRIDE
Regis enters the game on Thursday coming off a thrilling 1-0 double overtime victory at Anna Maria. Prior to the win over the AMCATS, the Pride defeated Mount Ida (3-1) and was shut out by Brandeis (9-0) and Framingham State (3-0) to sit at 2-2 on the year. 

Tais Salles picked up the game-winner Tuesday night and is one of three Pride to notch a score this season. Rachel Kelly leads the way with two scores to her credit with Michaela Bouvette also netting a goal.  Erin Filetti has set up Regis' offense with a team-leading two assists. 

Amanda Matias and Noelle Garcia have each seen action in between the pipes for the Pride. Amanda Matias is 1-2 on the year, earning the double OT win versus Anna Maria. The freshman has 19 saves for a .613 perecentage and holds a 3.85 goals-against average. Her classmate, Noelle Garcia, earned the start in the season opener and gave up one goal.  

INSIDE THE SERIES
Suffolk is 1-0 all-time against the Pride after defeating Regis 2-1 in the team's first-ever meeting Sept. 17, 2015. Jennifer Martin and Jessica Harmon scored unassisted tallies in the win.

At 3-1, Suffolk is off to its best start in the program's 10-year history. 

OPENING THE GNAC GATES
With the 5-0 shutout over Anna Maria Sept. 10, the Rams won their conference opener for the first time in the program's 10-year history. 

SCORING FRENZY
In the 9-0 victory Wednesday night at Wheelock, Suffolk poured in the most goals (9) since scoring 12 in a 12-0 shutout win over Anna Maria Oct. 24, 2012. The nine tallies are the fourth most goals all-time in the program's 10-year history, with the Rams' tallying nine goals on two other occasions, both 9-0 wins – Oct. 14, 2009 vs. Mass. Maritime and Oct. 13, 2010 vs. Newbury.

SHUTOUT
Suffolk's third straight cleansheet, a 5-0 victory against Anna Maria Sept. 12, marks the most times that the Rams' have shutout three consecutive opponents since the blue-and-gold strung four shutouts together from Oct. 1-10, 2011. 

MAGINIFICENT MARTIN
Jennifer Martin, who is the first Ram with a multi-goal game since Alexandra Nagri netted two in the season finale last season at Mount Ida, racked up four tallies in the 9-0 triumph at Wheelock Wednesday. Her offensive outpour, she ties the fourth-most goals in a single-game by a Ram and is the most goals by a Ram since Leslie Hayden and Lauren Cameron netted five and four, respectively at Anna Maria Oct. 10, 2011. The junior is also the first Ram to net a hat trick since Nagri did so in a 4-3 win at St. Joseph (Conn.) Sept. 19, 2015.

For the second straight year, Suffolk Athletics invites all members of Ram Nation to East Boston Memorial Park for a double feature soccer contest and #RamsFanFest Saturday, Oct. 15.
