BOSTON – More history will be made Saturday, March 1 as Suffolk women's lacrosse takes the field at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park for the program's first home contest against Purchase. First draw is set for 12:00 p.m.

It was a historic day for Ram Nation, not only did Suffolk women's lacrosse compete in its first collegiate contest in program history, but did so in winning fashion as the Rams topped Dean, 12-8, Saturday at Grant Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk started its program in the win column as it bested Dean, 12-8, last Saturday, Feb. 22.
Julia Dickinson was a force in her collegiate debut with three goals and two assists for a team-best five points. Eliza Bryant and Lauren Woods also had hat tricks versus the Bulldgos. Ally Colburn, meanwhile, is second on the squad with four points on an evenly split stat line of two goals and two helpers. Kate Carlson won a team-best five draw controls and Woods controlled three.
Defensively, Gracelyn Laperle picked up three ground balls and Bryant caused three turnovers. In net, Charlotte Guziejka turned aside 17 shots. She holds an 8.14 GAA and .680 save percentage.
PANTHERS POINTS
Purchase will lift the lid on its 2025 slate Saturday in Boston. The Panthers are coming off a 1-13 campaign.
Julieth Velasquez, who was responsible for 23 of Purchase's 55 goals a year ago, is back on roster is looks to lead its attack yet again. Catie Chios (4g, 1a) is back in the fold as well.
Amani Jamal is back for her senior season in net. She played every minute in goal a year ago, turned aside 209 saves and allowed 213 goals.
