
BIDDEFORD, Maine – Suffolk women's hockey slipped to the University of New England by a 2-1 margin for the second time in as many games Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) play at Harold Alfond Forum.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Nor'Easters scored late in both the first and second to grab a 2-0 lead as the game went into the third period.
Suffolk managed to erase the shutout thanks to Sammy Lassman at the 8:50 mark. The senior captain was set-up by freshman Shayna Deutsch and made it a 2-1 game with plenty of time on the clock.
The Rams managed to test Kirsten DiCicco six more times down the stretch. The Nor'Easters netminder denied all the blue-and-gold attempts to keep the game in UNE's favor.
