BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey has its final Conference of New England (CNE) home-and-home series of the season on tap this weekend when it faces the University of New England. The Rams will host the Nor'Easters Friday, Jan. 31 at 6:00 p.m., before traveling to Biddeford, Maine Saturday, Feb. 1 for a 4:00 p.m. puck drop.

LAST TIME OUT
Down 2-0, Bella Schmidt scored a natural hat trick to help Suffolk women's hockey comeback and defeat Nichols, 4-2, in Conference of New England (CNE) play Saturday at Levy Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is unbeaten through its last three games to sport an 8-8-1 overall record and 6-4-1 CNE ledger  

The Rams' 56-goal offense has been sparked the handful of players with double digit points in Bella Schmidt (8g, 6a), Jenna Caballero (12a), Alexia Hill (5g, 7a), Anya Nichipor (3g, 8a), Cassie Borowski (5g, 5a) and Kate Pohl(7g, 3a).  

In net Katelyn Michals has taken on the bulk of the work load playing all, but one game. She holds a 3.24 GAA and .900 save percentage. 

NOR'EASTER NOTES
UNE was swept by No. 12 Endicott in its home-and-home series last weekend to dip to 7-9-1 on the season and 5-5-1 in CNE contests.  

Hannah Humes is the lone Nor'Easters that has hit the double digit point mark with 11 behind three goals and eight assists. Amanda Forziati sits second on the squad with eight points on an evenly divided stat line of four goals and four assists. Hannah Keating (3g, 2) and Adria Tebo (4g, 1a) have five points apiece to be usual factors in the 24-goal offense.  

Kirsten DiCicco and Kaleigh Laurendeau have split time in between the pipes this year. In nine games played, DiCicco has put together a 2.23 GAA and .928 save percentage. Laurendeau, meanwhile holds a 1.68 GAA and .940 save percentage in seven appearances, all starts.  

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's hockey faced a two-goal deficit twice, including late in the third period, mount a comeback, but ran out of time to fall to the University of New England, 4-3, in a Conference of New England contest Tuesday, Nov. 26 night at Harold Alfond Forum.
