BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey begins opens its Conference of New England slate this weekend in a home-and-home series versus Endicott. The Rams visit Beverly, Massachusetts Friday, Nov. 8 for a 5:00 p.m. clash, before welcoming the Gulls to Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Saturday, Nov. 9 at 4:50 p.m.

Suffolk women's hockey fell in a three-goal hole it could not find its way out of to drop a 4-2 decision to Wilkes in the consolation contest of the Utica Kick-Off Tournament Saturday at the Nexus Center.

CONFERENCE DEBUTS

  • Suffolk is 4-1-0 in its first conference contest of the year. 
  • The blue-and-gold will play Endicott in the CNE opener for the first time.  
  • The Rams will play on the road in the first CNE contest of the campaign for the third time, first time since 2022-23.
  • Suffolk is 2-1-0 when playing its league debut on its home ice. 
  • The Rams are unbeaten, 2-0-0, when playing its first conference contest of the campaign on the road.
  • Suffolk has never needed extra time to decide a winner in its first league game of the season.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is 0-2-0 on the year after slipping in a pair of contests at the Utica Kick-Off Tournament last weekend.  

Cassie Borowski and Maddie Gagliano are responsible for the Rams two goals with one apiece. Alexia HillLiliana Moose and Kate Pohl have all produced one assist. 

Katelyn Michals has played in both contests in net. She holds a 2.58 GAA and .904 save percentage.  

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott, who received votes in the latest USCHO.com Poll, blanked Southern Maine, 2-0, in its season debut last weekend.  

Lilly Corso and Samantha Fantasia both netted one goal apiece for the Gulls offense. Jenna Seibold has produced the lone assist on Endicott's roster. 

Casey Moritz played the first game of the season in net for Endicott. She saved 14 shots in the shutout. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is 3-11-0 all-time against Endicott. 
  • At home, Suffolk sits 1-6-0 against Endicott. 
  • On the road, Suffolk is 2-5-0 versus Endicott.
