LAST TIME OUT
Despite a record-setting 52-save performance by Julia McLellan, Suffolk women's hockey was unable to break a 1-all first period tie and went on to draw with Trinity, 1-1, Jan. 5 at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
After spending the past five contests in the friendly confines of Porrazzo Rink and a weekend away from competition, Suffolk brings a 5-8-3 on the road.  

Two different players have hit the double figure point plateau this season in top scorer Shana Cote and her linemate Maddy Burton. Cote has found the back of the net six times and dished out five assists, while Burton has set-up a team-best seven scroers and netted three pucks herself.  

Julia McLellan has become the staple starter for the blue-and-gold between the pipes. The Rams rookie boasts a 2.94 GAA and .905 save percentage in 13 games played. Kristen Caporusso has played a bulk of time in net as well. The junior holds a 2.19 GAA and .897 save percentage. 

CAMELS CATCHUP
Connecticut College saw its seven-game win streak end this weekend as it dropped a two-game series at Amherst to dip to 7-5-0 on the season.  

Erin Dillon's 19 points power the Camels 40-goal offense. The junior forward has found the back of the net 10 times and assisted on nine other scorers to lead the squad in all offensive categories. Lauren Helm is second on the squad in both assists and points with eight helpers and 11 points with three goals to her credit as well. Melanie Conca is a scoring threat also with the second-most scorers, five.  

Carly Denora is Conn. College's go-to goalie. In nine starts, she has assembled a 1.59 GAA and .920 save percentage. MJ Peters (2.88 GAA, .886 save %) and Courtney Peyko (3.88 GAA, .786 save %) have each seen time in a pair of games, while Abby Wieczorek (0.00 GAA, 1.000 save %, 21 saves) has ice action in three outings.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk is idle again this weekend before returning back to Eastie for a pair of NEHC battles with Johnson & Wales and UMass Boston. The Wildcats make the trip first Friday, Jan. 24 for a 7:45 p.m. clash with the Beacons battle the next day, Saturday, Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m. serving as Suffolk's third-jersey game, which benefits the Special Olympics.
