BOSTON – The Suffolk women's hockey team ventures to Biddeford, Maine this weekend for a two-game series at the University of New England. Game time at the Harold Alfond Forum on Friday, Jan. 11 is set for 7 p.m., with a 4 p.m. puck drop set for the series closer the following day, Saturday, Jan. 12.

LAST TIME OUT
In its first action of 2019, the Suffolk women's hockey team fell to Franklin Pierce, 2-0, Tuesday night at the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
After being shut out by Franklin Pierce Tuesday night, Suffolk moved to 8-5-1 on the year. 

The Rams' 43-goal offense has seen 12 different skaters find the back of the net and 15 recording at least one point through the first 14 games of the season. Tess Adams buoys the blue-and-gold's offense with the senior sitting atop the squad in goals (8), assists (10) and points (18). Shana Cote matches Adams goal output with eight strikes of her own to go along with six helpers for 14 points, good for second on the squad. Madison Duff (1g, 9a) and Jesse Kennedy (5g, 5a) share third on the team with 10 points apiece. 

Kristen Caporusso has been a staple in net for the Suffolk this season. The sophomore has played all but one game in net and holds a 1.80 GAA and a .923 save percentage.

NOR'EASTER NOTES
UNE rides a three-game win streak into the weekend that put the Nor'Easters at 12-2-1 on the year. 

New England's offense is one of the most potent in the country at 3.87 goals per game, good for ninth across NCAA Division III. Fifteen different players have combined for 58 goals with all, but one skater registering at least one point this season. A quartet has eclipsed the double figure point output with Kenady Nevicosi's 19 off 10 goals and nine set-ups leading the way. Julianne Sheehan (12g, 4a) and Tatum Gietl (7g, 9a) share second with1 6 points apiece. Kyra Yu rounds out the foursome with 12 points split in half by goals and helpers. 

Julia Benjamin is the Nor'Easters top netminder with 14 games under her belt in which she put together a .939 save percentage and a 1.49 GAA.
