|
BOSTON – The Suffolk women's hockey team is set for its first full weekend on the road as the Rams have trips to Johnson & Wales and UMass Boston on the slate. The blue-and-gold will first stop by the Wildcats Friday, Nov. 16 for a 3:55 p.m. clash, before facing off against the Beacons the following day, Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Tess Adams had a hand in six of Suffolk women's hockey nine goals to lead 11 Rams with at least one point in an offensive onslaught, 9-0, victory over Anan Maria Wednesday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk used a midweek matchup win over Anna Maria to get on the other side of .500 and move to 4-3-0 on the season, while the Rams sit 1-1-0 in conference contests after falling at Salem State, 6-4, last weekend.
The Rams have put together the 12th-best offense in the conference thanks in large part to Tess Adams' leading the way. The senior broke through the double digit point barrier in seven games with 13 on team-leading numbers of six goals and seven handouts lead Suffolk's 27-goal offense. Shana Cote is on the verge of double figures with nine points on five markers and four helpers with Jesse Kennedy's eight thanks to three goals and five set-ups good for third on the team.
Kristen Caporusso has been a main ingredient to the Rams' four victories. The sophomore goaltender, who has started six outings and holds a 4-2-0 record, brings a .904 save percentage and a 1.75 GAA into the weekend. Caporusso's three cleansheets put the netminder in third-place among NCAA DIII women's gloves.

Since meeting Suffolk Nov. 3, Johnson & Wales fell at Salem State, 3-1, and downed UMass Boston, 3-2, to move to 1-5-0 on the season and 1-3-0 in league contests.
Molly Gray and Kathryn Mason pace the Wildcats' offense with two points each. Gray's pair of points came of assists, while Mason found the back of the net twice.
Jasmine Mucci has played the bulk of action in net for JWU. The freshman goalie carriers a .920 save percentage a a 2.62 GAA into the weekend.
WE MEET AGAIN
The Suffolk women's hockey team lifted the lid on its New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) schedule with a 3-0 victory as the Rams kept Johnson & Wales off the scoreboard at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Nov. 3.

BEACONS BREAKDOWN
UMass Boston split its action last weekend with a win over New England College (4-1) and a setback at Johnson & Wales (3-2) to head into this weekend 2-4-0 on the season and 1-3-0 against conference competition. Prior to hosting Suffolk Saturday, the Beacons will travel to Salem State Friday night.
A trio of players is the main force to Boston's offense in Emily Harris, Katie Leffler and Jane Morrisette. The threesome all sport identical stat lines of two goals and three assists.
In net, Alyssa DePippo has taken on the bulk of the work and has put together a .901 save percentage and a 1.79 goals-against average through five games and four starts. Caty Flagg, who has a pair of starts to her credit, holds a .957 save percentage and a 1.31 GAA.
