
REXFORD, N.Y. – Suffolk women's golf finished as the runner-up at the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NGWC) Fall Invitational Saturday at the Mohawk River Country Club.
The Rams combined for a team card of 345 (+65), six strokes behind SUNY Cortland, who won the 10-team tournament with a 339 (+59).
Krisna Mahendran topped the 45-golfer field as the freshman shot an 80 (+10). The win is the Rams' rookie fourth straight and fourth in as many outings.
Brooke Bugajewski turned in a top-five performance as the sophomore slid into fourth with an 84 (+14).
Ella Torsleff shared eighth with an 88 and Emory Goodson tied for 14th with a 93.
Clare Stackpole-McGrath rounded out the Rams on the course with a 104, good for a share of 31st.
Suffolk concludes its fall slate when it vies for the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship (NEIGA) at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts.
