WESTFIELD, Mass. – Suffolk women's golf took its talents to Shaker Farms Country Club Saturday afternoon to get its 2024 season underway at the Westfield State Invitational.  

The competition, the featured foes from Gordon, Keene State, Nichols and Westfield State, was not completed due to inclement weather towards the end of play. 

Three Rams managed to get a full 18 in, however, in Brooke Bugajewski (78), Ella Torsleff (79) and Krisna Mahendran (80).  

Clare Stackpole-McGrath and Emory Goodson were unable to finish their first-ever collegiate competition.  

Suffolk is set to get back out on the course next weekend, Sept. 14-15 at the Polar Bear Shootout. The two-day tournament will take place at the Brunswick Golf Club in Brunswick, Maine.
