Women’s Golf Competes at NCAA D3 Championships

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – Suffolk women's golf represented the University and the Northeast Women's Golf Conference at the NCAA Division III Championships last week, May 21-23, at the Keene Trace Golf Club. 

In their NCAA Championship debut, the Rams finished 29th in the 29-team field with a two-day card of 720. The blue-and-gold shot 373 on the first day on the championship course and shaved 26 strokes off on the second day of play on the par-72, 5,846-yard course.  

Individually, it was sophomore Ella Torsleff that led Suffolk's team card. She finished in a share of 117th with a 171 (+27). 

Senior Ellie Yarbrough was four spots and one stroke behind Torsleff with a 172.  

Freshman Brooke Bugajewski (176) tied for 133rd and senior Sophie Kiley (201) took 150th.  

Suffolk earned the program's first-ever berth to NCAAs after capturing the 2024 NWGC Title April 27-28.
