
BOSTON – Suffolk women's golf is primed for its inaugural debut at the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship, which will be held at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky, May 21-24.
The Rams earned the program's first-ever berth to the national stage by capturing the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Championship April 27-28 en route to the league's automatic bid.

NCAAs
- The tournament will follow both a team and individual competition, which will be conducted concurrently
- Following 36 holes (two days) of competition, the team field of 29 teams and six individuals will be cut down to the top 15 teams and top six individuals not on one of the teams that made the cut
- Following the cut, the remaining 15 teams and six individuals will compete for another 36 holes (two days) of action.
- In the team competition, the low four scores from each team for each day will count in the team's total score
THE FIELD
- 25 conferences were awarded an automatic qualification. Suffolk earned one of the AQs of the 2024 NCAA Championship field by capturing the Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Championship April 27-28
- In addition to the AQ Teams, four teams earned at-large bids
- Six individuals, not from selected teams, also were selected to the championship

HOW'D THE RAMS GET HERE?
Suffolk was one of the 25 teams to earn a ticket to NCAAs via an automatic bid as the Rams won the NWGC Championship April 27-28.
Ellie Yarbrough anchored the blue-and-gold to victory as the senior secured individual medalist honors at the Edison Country Club in Rexford, New York, the last weekend of April with a two-day card of 152.
Ella Torsleff garnered an All-NWGC First-Team spot with a fourth-place finish in the 54-golfer field with a 163 and Brooke Bugajewski was the NWGC Rookie of the Year after she placed eighth with a 169.

Action starts tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 a.m.
The Rams will begin on hole 10. Sophie Kiley will be the first blue-and-gold golfer to take the green at 12:00 p.m. with Ella Torsleff, Brooke Bugajewski and Ellie Yarbrough following every 10 minutes.
