BOSTON – Suffolk women's golf's fourth season tees off this weekend at the Husson Invitational at the Bangor Municipal Golf Course in Bangor, Maine.

LET'S TALK ABOUT #RAMNATION
RamNation has a chance to keep up with all the latest news and notes on Suffolk Athletics, its student-athletes and teams by following the Rams on  Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

RAPID REWIND
Last season, Suffolk's success continued. In the fall, the Rams repeated as Empire 8 runner ups and two weeks later they captured their second straight NEIGA Championship title with all five Suffolk student-athletes taking home All-NEIGA honors.

In the spring, more triumphs came when the Rams garnered the inaugural Northeast Women's Golf Conference crown behind the inaugural individual champion Nicole Antonucci.

CLASS CATEGORIES
The Rams are from three different classes at Suffolk with a pair of juniors in Nicole Antonucci and Brooke Chapman, one sophomore, Madison Scheinberg, and one senior, Tess Adams

GEOGRAPHY 101
Suffolk's 2019 geographic footprint covers three states – Florida, Massachusetts and New Hampshire – and Canada.

Brooke Chapman is a Bay State local with Nicole Antonucci hailing from Massachusetts' neighbor to the north, New Hampshire. Madison Scheinberg came to Beantown from Florida with Tess Adams bringing her talents down from Calgary, Alberta.

LIFT THE LID
For the second straight season and second time in Suffolk's history, the Rams will tee off in a two-day competition for the first outing of the campaign when the blue-and-gold compete in the Husson Tournament, Sept. 21-22 in Bangor, Maine.

THE COURSE
Bangor Municipal is a 27-hole layout.

The "Original 18" sports challenging holes and a handful of birdie opportunities, while the "Kelly Nine" is an additional nine holes that were added in 1986.

THE COMPETITION
Three teams will converge on the Bangor Municipal Golf Course. Joining Suffolk will be Rhode Island College and the tournament's host Husson.

COACH'S CORNER
Jay Parker has been the one and only head coach of Suffolk women's golf since the program began in 2016-17 and returns to the helm for his fourth season in 2019.

Parker has led Suffolk to back-to-back NEIGA Titles in 2018 and 2019, respectively. He is the only Suffolk golf coach – either male or female – to have a student-athlete garner All-NEIGA honors and has seen five athletes take home nine honors throughout his tenure highlighted by Aine Dillon's individual champion accolade a year ago.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk heads to Cortland, New York for the CORTACA Northeast Invitational at the Cortland Country Club Sept. 28-29.
