Suffolk women's basketball slipped to Curry, 68-65, Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) play at Katz Gymnasium.

Suffolk has slipped in back-to-back contests to sit 9-8 on the year and 4-6 in CNE play.  

Back from injury, Amanda DeAngelis averages a near double-double with 14.1 ppg and 9.4 rpg to lead the team in both categories. Colby Guinta is second on the squad in points (13.8 ppg), and rebounds (6.6 ppg) with Jordan Moreau and Maddie Stewart on the verge of scoring double figures as well with 9.9 ppg and 9.2 ppg, respectively.  

NOR'EASTER NOTES
The University of New England (10-7, 7-3 CNE) rides a four-game win streak into Tuesday night.  

Faye Veilleux is a two-way player for the Nor'Easters with a team-high 14.0 ppg and 5.7 rpg, good for second on the squad. Sydney Jenisch supplies 10.8 ppg to UNE's 62.7 ppg scoring unit. Maddy Werner grabs a team-best 5.9 rpg to anchor the team's 39.3 rpg effort. 

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's basketball fell to the University of New England, 74-54, in its Conference of New England opener Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Harold Alfond Forum.
