WNE battled back and outscored the host 22-1 to put the blue-and-gold in a 16-point hole, 47-31.

Suffolk regained control of its offensive output as it went on a 6-2 quarter-ending run over the final 1:47 to trim the deficit down to a dozen, 49-37.

Western New England managed to keep the Rams at a double-digit distance as the visitors had a response for every blue-and-gold comeback attempt.

A late trey by Jordan Moreau gave one last spark of hope for Suffolk as it made it a 10-point gap, 62-52, with 1:56 left on the clock.
