BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball rides a three-game win streak into a midweek match versus Western New England Wednesday, Jan. 22. The Conference of New England (CNE) clash is set for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.

Suffolk women's basketball took down Wentworth, 66-43, Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Tansey Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Behind a three-game win streak, Suffolk improved to 9-6 on the year and 4-4 (.500) in CNE action.
Colby Guinta has been a leader on both ends of the hardwood with 14.1 ppg and 7.0 rpg. Amanda DeAngelis, who was out due to injury, returned to action Saturday and is averaging a double-double of 14.6 ppg and 10.6 rpg. Jordan Moreau is also a two-way player with 10.1 ppg and 4.3 rpg. Maddie Stewart is on the verge of providing double figures in points with 9.4 ppg to her credit to go along with 4.3 rpg on the defensive end.
GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England has won its last four games to sit 14-1 on the year in 7-1 in CNE action. The Golden Bears' lone league loss came to the University of New England Jan. 4, 2025 by a 56-52 decision.
WNE's offense is well-balanced with just one player averaging double figures in Lilly Hedge with 11.7 ppg. Emam Kahn and Shaina Cooney are on the verge with 9.8 ppg and 9.6 ppg, respectively.
Defensively, Hedge leads the way as well with 5.9 rpg. Conney chips in 2.9 rpg.
