BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball aims to keep its winning ways going Wednesday, Jan. 15 when Hartford pays the Rams a visit at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 5:30 p.m. Conference of New England (CNE) tangle.

Suffolk women's basketball took an early edge that helped hold off a Nichols comeback late and the Rams picked up a 74-69 Conference of New England win Saturday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk snapped a three-game skid Saturday when it bested Nichols 74-69 to improve to 7-6 on the year and 2-4 in CNE play.  

Colby Guinta has proved to be an all-around player for Suffolk with 13.6 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 2.3 apg. Maddie Stewart (10.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.2 apg) and Jordan Moreau (9.6 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.4 apg) are topics of conversation in multiple categories as well. Allison Bono adds 8.2 ppg to the scoring unit and a team-best 2.0 spg on the defensive end. Aisling Crowley, meanwhile, is the second-best rebounder with 5.8 rpg to her credit. 

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Hartford fell to Curry, 78-57, Saturday to dip to 6-7 on the year and 4-2 in CNE contests.  

Lauren Sabia is the lone Hawk averaging double figures in scoring with 11.8 ppg. Ella Marchesani adds 8.3 ppg to the team's 58.3 scoring effort. Maddie MacCannell (6.6 rpg), Ava Naszimento (5.5 rpg, 0.8 bp), Kendall Rieman (5.0 rpg) and Miaela Williams (1.8 spg) lead the way defensively.  

INSIDE THE SERIES
