LAST TIME OUT
Amanda DeAngelis played one of her most impressive games in a Rams uniform to date to power Suffolk women's basketball to an 82-76 overtime Commonwealth Coast Conference win over Endicott Saturday afternoon. DeAngelis highlight performance featured her 1,000th career point in a blue-and-gold jersey behind a career-high 32-point offensive output.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Behind its three-game win streak, Suffolk is 14-5 on the year and 8-3 versus CCC competition.  

Amanda DeAngelis continues to average a double-double with team-leading numbers in points (16.1) and rebounds (11.6) per game. Lauren Romito sits second on the squad in both categories as well with 13.9 ppg and 9.5 rpg. Colby Guinta adds 10.6 ppg to the Rams' 71.7 ppg offensive output. 

GET TO KNOW THE GOLDEN BEARS
Western New England has rattled off four wins in a row including a convincing 107-76 decision over Nichols Saturday to hold a 15-4 overall mark and 9-2 CCC ledger.  

The trio of Shaina Cooney (11.9 ppg), Tara Laugeni (10.3 ppg) and Lindsey Carey (10.1) all average double figures in scoring to pace the Golden Bears' 68.16 ppg offense.  

Cooney tops the team's effort on the glass with 7.4 rpg. Abby Garaban pitches in 5.8 rpg to WNE's 43.3 rpg effort. As a team, the Golden Bears are outrebounding their foes by a near 10.0 rpg (9.7) margin.   

WE MEET AGAIN
The Commonwealth Coast Conference action at the Alumni Healthful Living Center Tuesday, Jan. 9 came down to the wire as the Suffolk women's basketball trailed by 17 at the half, came back, tied at the game in the third and forced Western New England to win the game at the foul line, which it did, 67-60.

RAMS RECOGNITION
Suffolk women's basketball's senior captain Amanda DeAngelis garnered Commonwealth Coast Conference Co-Player of the Week after averaging a double-double of 27.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Rams, the league office announced Monday. DeAngelis shares the weekly distinction with Western New England's Emma Novajasky.

NEWBA NEWS
Amanda DeAngelis of the Suffolk women's basketball team picked up her second weekly recognition after her standout performance over a 2-0 week for the Rams as the senior captain scooped up New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Player of the Week.
