Women’s Basketball Handles Endicott, 61-48

BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball completed the home-and-home series sweep of Endicott behind a convincing 61-48 victory over the Gulls Sunday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 61 | Endicott 48
RECORDS: Suffolk (3-1) | Endicott (0-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was Suffolk from the get go as Rams poured in the first six points of the day before easily building a 16-7 cushion throughout the first quarter.

More Suffolk scoring came in the second as Gabriella DeComo's quarter-opening jumper was followed by back-to-back triples from Sydney Richard that extended the Rams' advantage to 17, 24-7.

It was cruise control from there for the blue-and-gold that coasted into halftime ahead 36-20.

Endicott never had a chance as Suffolk continue to keep its foot on the gas pedal throughout the third frame to hold a 52-33 cushion at the end of 30 minutes and the Rams kept the pressure on in the final 10 to seal the deal.
