BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball wraps up the first semester schedule in front of its home crowd Thursday, Dec. 12 when Bridgewater State stops by the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 5 p.m. non-conference tangle.

Five different players produced double figures in scoring to anchor Suffolk women's basketball's 82-64 triumph over Clark Tuesday night at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
After taking down Clark, 82-64, Tuesday night, Suffolk improved to 6-3 overall.  

Jenni-Rose DiCecco and Alexis Hackett have been crucial ingredients to Suffolk's success. DiCecco supplies a hefty amount of the offense, scoring 17.2 ppg herself and dishing out 5.1 apg. Hackett, meanwhile, contributes on both ends of the hardwood with 10.6 rpg and 10.3 ppg. Gabriella DeComo chips in 9.3 ppg with Emily Welling adding 6.4 rpg to the defensive unit. 

BEARS BREAKDOWN
Bridgewater State has slipped in back-to-back battles to dip to 2-6 on the year.  

The Bears 60.9 ppg offense is powered by a trio in double figures paced by Destiny Fitzgerald's 13.3 ppg with Olivia Dziadyk and Hannah Dziadyk supplying 10.3 ppg and 10.2 ppg, respectively. 

Fitzgerald anchors the 37.9 rpg effort as well with 6.6 rpg. Maggie Hester pitches in 4.1 rpg. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Bridgewater State will meet for the sixth time in the all-time series, which dates back to 1998-99. 
  • The Rams trail the all-time series, 1-4. 
  • Suffolk's last and only win over the Bears came in a 76-61 decision Dec. 1, 2001.
