BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team, who is on a five-game win streak, wraps up a three-game home stretch Thursday, Jan. 24 when it entertains Anna Maria inside Regan Gymnasium. The 5 p.m. tip-off precedes a 7 p.m. a Suffolk men's basketball matchup versus Saint Joseph (Conn.).

DOULBE FEATURE
For the second time this season Suffolk's men's and women's squads will tip-off inside Regan Gymnasium on the same day. This season, the women's team is 0-1 when playing in a doubleheader with the Rams' men's team.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team remained in the win column Tuesday night as the Rams bested Regis, 70-56, in GNAC action in Regan Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk's season-best five-game win streak improved the Rams to 13-4 overall and unbeaten in GNAC action at 5-0. 

Jenni-Rose DiCecco propels Suffolk's 65.6 ppg offense as the sophomore floor general provides 16.6 ppg and 4.1 apg. She is aided by Alexis Hackett's and Allie Lopes' 12.2 ppg and 10.8 ppg efforts, respectively. 

To go along with her offensive output, Hackett pulls down 11.6 rpg to average a double-double. The junior receives help on the glass from DiCeco (5.5 rpg) and Jordan Hipwell (4.9 rpg).

AMCATS ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Anna Maria slipped to Saint Joseph's (Maine), 75-62, Saturday to dip to 5-13 overall and 2-3 in league action. 

A trio of players paces the AMCATs' 58.6 ppg offense in Sierra Johnson (15.4 ppg), Amber Wilson (15.3 ppg) and Sienna Johnson (12.4 ppg).

Defensively, Johnanna Burke leads the way with 7.1 rpg with Sierra Johnson adding 4.7 rpg to Anna Maria's 38.3 rpg performance.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is undefeated (7-0) all-time versus Anna Maria with the series beginning in 2011-12.
  • The Rams took last season's meeting, 69-33.
