BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team takes a three-game win-streak on the road Tuesday night as the Rams visit St. Joseph's (Conn.) for a 7 p.m. showdown.

LAST TIME OUT

The Suffolk women's basketball team rewrote its record books Saturday afternoon as the Rams picked up a 104-99 overtime GNAC win over Albertus Magnus inside Regan Gymnasium on Senior Day. 

Suffolk used the first 100-point game in the program's 40-year history to capture its third straight win. 

Chelsea Campellone and Alessandra Quadri each put on a show in front of the home crowd in their final home game of their careers. Quadri's 26 points led the Rams, while Campellone's 22-point, 13-rebound effort was good for the seniors 11th double-double of the season. Quadri added eight boards, three assits, two swats and one takeaway to her impressive stat line. Georgia Bourikas and Kelsey Schiebel also recorded double-figures for Suffolk with 19 and 17, respectively. 

Suffolk finished the day with a 48.6 connection rate (48.6) from the floor, shot 44.0 percent (11-25) from 3-point range and 72.4 percent (21-29) from the line. The Rams held advantages in points in the paint (44-34), points off mistakes (21-17) and had a 31-point spark off the bench.

RUN DOWN ON THE RAMS

  • Suffolk's 14-9 overall record has come thanks to an 11-4 mark at Regan Gymnasium. On the road, however, the Rams are 1-5 with their last win coming away from the friendly confines of their home gym coming January 9 at Simmons, 65-52. 
  • As a team the Rams have the fifth-best offense in the league with 65.4 ppg off the sixth-best shooting percentage from the field (36.3) and from 3-point range (31.0). 
  • Chelsea Campellone's team-leading 15.7 ppg is good for sixth amongst the GNAC with the seniors 10.3 rpg is good for third. 
  • Alessandra Quadri joins Campellone with double-figures as the senior provides 10.0 ppg. 

BREAKDOWN ON THE BLUE JAYS

  • St. Joseph's snapped a four-game skid Saturdya with a 79-56 win over Mount Ida to move its record to 3-19 overall and 2-7 against GNAC opponents. 
  • The Blue Jays put in the 10th-best offense in the league (58.3) and allow the the second-most points against (75.4). 
  • A quartet of players record double-digits with Carlee Putnam's 13.7 leading the way. Kayla Guest, who grabs 6.7 rpg on the glass, is second on the team with 12.9 ppg. Stephanie DeJesus ) and Rajeen Mayo round out USJCTs double-figure scorers with identical 11.3 ppg each. 
  • Elisha Pertillar's 7.0 rpg leads the Blue Jays' 38.6 rebounds per outing.

The Suffolk women's basketball record books were rewritten Saturday afternoon as the Rams poured in 104 points in a 104-99 overtime GNAC victory against Albertus Magnus.
