WATERFORD, Conn. – Suffolk men's cross country turned in a 23rd-place performance at the Connecticut College Invitational Saturday.
The Rams combined of 689 points to place 23rd in the field of 35. NYU won the meet with an 80. Suffolk's score was the best of the three Conference of New England schools on the course. Roger Williams finished two spots behind the blue-and-gold in 25th, while Hartford placed 30th.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Cam Fredette topped Suffolk's scorers with a 93rd-place performance in the field of 269. He came through the 8k finisher's chute in 25:57.9.
- Thomas Novy was just outside the top-100 in 101st behind a time of 26:03.4.
- Tim Barry crossed the tape in 26:16.0 to claim 119th.
- Connor Hayward (27:36.3), Jacob Dubin (27:40.4) and Hayden Green (28:09.3) rounded out the Rams on the course.
RAMS RECORDS
- Fredette's time of 25:57.9 was a personal-record for the sophomore.
SUFFOLK'S SCHEDULE
