NEW ORLEANS - All-America honors from the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the announcement featured Suffolk men's cross country's own Matyas Csiki-Fejer

Athletes from member institutions earned All-America recognition by finishing among the top-40 athletes in their gender's respective races over the weekend at the 2021 NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky.

Csiki-Fejer ran his way to All-America status with a 35th-place performance at the national championships. Suffolk's senior clocked a personal-best 8k time of 24:20.0 to become the first Rams, male or female, to garner an All-American honor in cross country. He is the 15th All-American in Suffolk Athletics history.

Additionally, he is the first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) male student-athlete to earn the highest honor as well. The Manchester, Missouri native was one of 11 student-athletes from the East region to earn All-America honors this year.
