CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – After winning the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) individual crown, Matyas Csiki-Fejer was honored as the CCC Runner of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

The Manchester, Missouri local continued his season-long dominance at the conference championships at Western New England in Springfield, Massachusetts Saturday. He was named the CCC Runner of the Year after completing the 8k course in 25:00, besting his closest competitor by over two minutes.  The senior captain anchored the Rams to a runner-up finish in the team competition.

Csiki-Fejer has picked up the title of the best runner over a seven day stretch by the CCC all five weeks he has been active in 2021. His five weekly awards bring Suffolk's season total to six as Tim Barry was named CCC Rookie of the Week Sept. 20.

The Rams and Csiki-Fejer have just under two weeks to prepare for the 2021 NCAA Division III East Regionals, which Suffolk will host at Franklin Park Saturday, Nov. 13.
