Men’s Cross Country Places 33rd at 20th Annual James Earley Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass. Paulo Guedes placed 175th overall as the Suffolk men's cross country team finished 33rd at the 38-team 20th Annual James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park Saturday morning. 

For the fourth time in 2015, Guedes, a sophomore from Somerville, Massachusetts, paced the Rams pack. He crossed the tape in 29:49.05 for 175th overall out of 373 runners. 

Freshman Alex Marcus finished 207th after finishing the 8k course in 30:17.39. Junior Abudla Khoory (361 - 39:23.42), Mike O'Brien (362- - 39:32.47), Mike Rotchfield (367 - 41:05.17) and Mohamed Eddin (373 - 42:31.92) also raced for Suffolk Saturday. 

Suffolk's six runners combined for a 1046 points to take 33rd overall while Union College won the meet with 100 points, followed by the College of Saint Rose (131) and the hosts Westfield State (140).
