
BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's outdoor track & field has another eventual weekend in store with three events over April 15-16. First, the Rams will be represented by Thomas Novy and Skyler Spanbauer at Connecticut College's Stiflen Invitational Friday, with the team splitting up Saturday for the SJC Monks Invitational in Standish, Maine, and the Penmen Relays in Hooksett New Hampshire.

In its third and final event of the weekend, Suffolk men's outdoor track & field took fifth at the Gordon Invitational at the Brigham Athletic Complex Saturday.

Suffolk women's outdoor track & field finished in the middle of the nine-team field at the Gordon Invitational at the Brigham Athletic Complex Saturday afternoon.

STIFLEN INVITATIONAL
Both Thomas Novy and Skyler Spanbauer received invitationals to race the 10k at the Stiflen Invitational on the campus of Connecticut College Friday. The freshman and senior are both aiming to run their ways to regionals in the event.
PENMEN RELAYS
Suffolk's fielders, Caitlyn Filloramo (discus & hammer throw), Allison Rodrigues (discus & javelin), Olivia Nicholson (Javelin) and Michael Balestra (hammer throw) are headed to New Hampshire Saturday.
Rodrigues and Nichols are attempting to qualifying for regionals in the Granite State, while Balestra and Filloramo try to hit top 20 national marks to help put them in position for a spot at nationals.
SJC MONKS INVITATIONAL
- Suffolk is sending its top sprinters and jumpers to Vacation land.
- Cole Bolduc will attempt to qualify for regionals in the 400.
- Amanda Walden and Lauren Wood look to seal their ticket to regionals in the 200 and long jump, respectively.
- Multiple Rams may have break through performances this weekend in Catherine Brown (high jump), Kely Maloney (1500), Jocelyn Triscik (800), Gavin Reid (triple jump) and Evan Wright (800).
WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk will prep for the CCC Championships, that are on tap for Saturday, April 30, at MIT's Sean Collier invitational next Saturday, April 23.
