BOSTON – Suffolk men's and women's indoor track & field will take its talents to the Regis Lewis Center Saturday, Dec. 10 for Northeastern's Joe Donahue Games.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.
Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.
For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

Suffolk men's indoor track & field competed for the first time in nearly two years when it began its 2021-22 calendar at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener.

LAST TIME OUT [ WOMEN ]
Suffolk women's indoor track & field got its 2021-22 campaign underway Saturday, Dec. 4 at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. The Rams participated in a dozen event at the Terriers Track & Tennis Center.

THE FIELD
Five different foes will participate in Northeastern's event Saturday. The Rams are one of three NCAA Division III schools headed to the Reggie Lewis Center with Emmanuel and Worcester State making the trip along with the hosts Huskies, American International and Sacred heart.
SUFFOLK STANDOUTS [ MEN ]
- Suffolk will concentrate on its field event and sprinters this weekend with the Rams' long-distance runners resting after a successful cross country campaign.
- In his collegiate debut, Eddie McCarthy finished just nine inches off of the school record in the shot put and is looking to rewrite that record this Saturday.
- Senior captain Robert Solari will high jump for the first time since taking the GNAC title back in 2020.
RAMS TO KEEP AN EYE ON [ WOMEN ]
- Julia Leavey and Catherine Madden will make their collegiate hurdle debuts and the winner should walk away with a new school record.
- Leavey will also look to break the program high jump mark alongside Grace Danehy.
- The women's 200 has potential to be very fast with Amanda Walden, Erika Penney, Emily Concepcion and Alyssa Rodriguez all looking to establish top marks within the GNAC Saturday.
RAMS RECOGNITION
Carter Nevulis made his and the Suffolk men's indoor track & field program's names known at the Rams' 2021-22 season debut, Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, to garner 60 percent of the poll's 35 votes to take home the department's weekly distinction.
