BOSTON – Suffolk men's tennis dropped a Beantown battle with UMass Boston, 5-2, Friday afternoon at the BC High School Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Beacons swept doubles play in order to go into singles up 1-0.  

UMass Boston quickly secured the match with victories on singles courts two, one and four in that order. 

Sein Kim eliminated the shutout with a 6-2, 5-7, 10-8 triumph over Max Dill in the third spot.  

Henry Blanchard recorded the Rams' second point of the day behind a 6-2, 6-3 triumph against Joseph Malone in the fifths lot. 

Anders Ovren fell to Shrenith Saravana Rakshana, 6-3, 6-2, in the sixth spot for the 5-2 final in UMB's favor.
