UMass Dartmouth Bests Men's Tennis, 6-3

BOSTON - The Suffolk men's tennis team dropped its final regular season home game, 6-3 to UMass Dartmouth Wednesday night at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols.

The Corsairs took an early lead as they defeated the Rams in the first two doubles sets of the match, but the pair of Rami Esrawi and Anton Boubnov came back to win the final set, 7-3 on a tiebreaker, notching their third win of the season as a duo. 

Boubnov was also victorious in singles play as the junior defeated the Corsairs' Tony Xie, 8-6 to record his second win of the year. Junior Francesco Saia also came out on top in his singles set as he took down Corey Rafter, 10-6 on a tiebreaker.

The victory marked Saia's third of the year which ties Vela and Chris Parnagian for a team-high in the win column.

Suffolk will return to action tomorrow afternoon as it travels to Salem State to serve off against the Vikings at 4 p.m.
