No. 11 Babson Stops Men’s Soccer, 1-0

BABSON PARK, Mass. – Suffolk men's soccer fell to No. 11 Babson, 1-0, Tuesday afternoon at Hartwell-Rogers Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Babson controlled the pace of play for the majority of the opening half and it showed as it built an early one-goal edge that remained when the teams headed to the locker rooms. Matias Gutierrez was responsible for the Beavers goal. He found the back of the net 3:04 into the contest with help from Lyndon Way and Joao Arajuo. 

Nathan Harlow held the Beavers scoreless as he turned aside the three shots on target.

Suffolk's offense, meanwhile, took all its shots in the first frame and was unable to test Babson's keeper Walker White once to slip to the nationally ranked foes, 1-0.

  • White picked up the win for the Beavers.
