LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's soccer broke open the scoring in the second stanza and never looked back to hand Hartford a 2-0 Conference of New England (CNE) setback Saturday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is 5-3-3 on the year after coupling back-to-back wins together, a 2-1 triumph over University of New England a 2-0 shutout of Hartford.  

The Rams' 21-goal offense has seen a dozen different players produce at least one goal this season. Francisco Valck is the biggest offensive threat with a team-best five goals. Luke Blawn and Damon Smargon have share second on the squad in goals scored with three apiece. Smargon is one of five players to hand out a team-high two assists along with Matthew Belluardo, Tommy Handelsman, Diego Pierantozzi and Dominic Rinaldi.

Nathan Harlow is the usual keeper for the blue-and-gold. In nine games played, eight starts, he holds a 1.11 GAA and .730 save percentage. Harlow holds a 4-2-3 record with three cleansheets to his credit.  

BEAVERS BREAKDOWN
Babson, who is currently 12th in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III poll, is unbeaten through the year at 5-0-6. The Beavers are coming off a convincing 5-0 victory over Emerson.  

Babson has put away 16 goals this season. The offense is well-balanced with Alexander Yablonovskiy leading the way with team-high numbers in goals (3) and points (7). James Donaldson (2g, 4a) is second on the squad with eight points and Kento Abe (2g, 2a) rounds out the top trio with six points. 

The Beavers' defense has limited their foes to six goals this year and has kept five competitors off the scoreboard. Walker White is the backbone of the defense as the keeper boasts a 0.56 GAA and .818 save percentage.   

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk is 0-2-2 all-time against Babson in a series that started in 2006. 
• The Rams and Beavers last met in a scoreless draw Sept. 5, 2023. 
• Three of the four contests between Suffolk and Babson have been shutouts. The Rams are 0-1-2 in such instances.
