THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 0 | Brandeis 0
RECORDS: Suffolk (1-0-1) | Brandeis (0-1-1)
HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk had two opportunities in the first frame. First, Damon Smargon fired a shot at the low center of the net, but the Judges' netminder Quintin Wrabley was there to lock it up. Fifteen minutes later, Dylan Trachtenberg tried at the low left, but once again Wrabley gloved the ball to keep the Rams off the board.
Brandeis, meanwhile, tested Nathan Harlow once in the first set of 45 minutes. Nico Beninda's shot to the low right was turned aside by Harlow to send the teams into the locker room at 0-0.
The blue-and-gold's only shot on target in the second half came 3:17 out of the break. Wrabley denied TJ Maselek's low center attempt though.
The Judges on the other hand had two shots on target in the second stanza, both of which Harlow knocked away to hold onto the draw.
