BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer hits the road for the first time Sunday, Sept. 1 for a battle at Brandeis at 1:00 p.m.

Suffolk men's soccer handled Emmanuel in its 2024 season debut, 4-1, Friday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk started the year in the win column for the fourth consecutive campaign after taking down Beantown rival Emmanuel, 4-1, Friday, Aug. 31.
The Rams four goals came off three different boots. Francisco Valck led the way with two, while Damon Smargonand Miguel Varela found the back of the once each. Jeremy Cooke and Diego Pierantozzi assisted on one goal apiece. Half of Suffolk's offensive output on opening day came via a pair of good penalty kicks, one converted by Valck, the other by Smargon.
Nathan Harlow defended the blue-and-gold's net turning aside five of the six shots he faced.
JUDGES JIST
Brandeis fell in its 2024 debut at Suffolk's Conference of New England (CNE) counterpart Western New England, 3-1, Friday.
Aidan Chuang was responsible for the Judges only goal, which was set up by Joshua Andrews.
Quintin Wrabley played the entire game in net for Brandeis. He made four saves and gave up three goals.
