2024 SUFFOLK MEN'S SOCCER ROSTER
BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer's 2024 roster will feature fresh faces as head coach Bill Maddock brought in eight recruits over the offseason.
"I'm very excited about this year's incoming class," Maddock said. "Each year, we strive to bring in players who can contribute immediately to the success of the program, and I believe we've achieved that with this group. We have a great blend of experience and fresh talent, which I believe will create a strong foundation for the team's future success."
The group is evenly split between true freshmen – Ian Caldwell, Christian Gardner, Javen Ironside and Dylan Trachtenberg – and transfers in Faisal Bajunaid, Dan Colbert, Koki Matsuwaki and Niklas Nilsson.
Position wise, there are four midfielders, two defensemen, one forward and one goaltender.
The group looks to compliment the 31 returners that reached the conference semifinals in back-to-back seasons.
The 2024 edition of Suffolk men's soccer opens its schedule Friday, Aug. 30 when it entertains Emmanuel at East Boston Memorial Park's James A. Sartori Stadium at 3:00 p.m.
