2023 SUFFOLK MEN'S SOCCER ROSTER
BOSTON – Suffolk men's soccer's 2023 roster will have fresh faces in 2023 as head coach Bill Maddock brought in 10 recruits over the off season.
"I'm very excited about this years incoming class," Maddock said. "Each year we try to bring in players that we feel can contribute right way to the success of the problem and I believe we have achieved this with this group."
The group is a mixture of true freshmen with transfers in the mix as well in Paolo Tedesco and Everett Upton, who brought their talents to Boston from Winthrop University and Assumption. Position wise, there are three defensemen and midfielders and a pair of keepers and forwards, respectively.
Maddock continued, "We have brought in technical, versatile players that will improve the overall talent of the group immediately. I can't wait to see the success, both on and off the field, that they will bring to our program."
Maddock hopes the rookies join forces with his 28 veterans to push to a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship after the Rams finished as the league's runner-up a year ago.
Suffolk's 2023 season opens Friday, Sept. 1 at Emmanuel at 2 p.m.
