BOSTON – The Suffolk men's soccer team returns home for a GNAC tilt against Emmanuel Saturday, Oct. 6 at 12 p.m. at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

LAST TIME OUT
An Albertus Magnus goal at the 85th minute broke open a 2-all tie and sent the Falcons past Suffolk men's soccer, 3-2, Wednesday night at Celentano Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk dropped to 2-8-1 on the year and 2-5-1 against conference competition following a tough loss at Albertus Magnus and is looking climb back into the win column after three straight defeats.

James Fisher and Leonardo Acosta pace the Rams with eight points apiece. Fisher has team-best four goals, while Acosta owns three markers and two dimes.

Tom Bennett has been the go-to goalie for Suffolk in the last five contests. The freshman owns a 2.17 goals against average and a .720 save percentage.

SAINTS SAYINGS
Emmanuel holds a 4-6-1 record and a 3-2-1 conference ledger after falling to Saint Joseph's (Maine) 1-0 in a tightly contested match Tuesday night.  

Kyle King leads the Saints attack. The freshman forward has tallied four goals and three assists for 11 points. Robert Danielian (4g, 1a) and Nick Fierro (2g, 3a) are also consistent contributors to the offensive efforts.

John Ferrarini leads the Saints in net boasting a 1.21 goals against average and a .811 save percentage.

For the fourth and final time in 2018 the Suffolk soccer teams will play in front of its home crowd at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park on the same day. In such outings, the Rams' men boast a 2-0-1 record.

ACADEMIC ACCOLADES
For the first time in the James Boden era and first since 2010, the Suffolk men's soccer team was recognized for its efforts inside the classroom as the Rams earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award distinction for the 2017-18 season, the national organization announced Thursday morning.
