BOSTON – After a battle of a season-opener, the Suffolk men's soccer team will make the short trip to Chestnut Hill, for a Saturday showdown at Pine Manor.  The Rams and Gators are set for a clash at Hedley Field at 3 p.m. as each team is looking for their first win of 2015.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk saw two players score in freshman Alvin Di and and sophomore Eugenio Ottino, who knocked in a penalty kick. In goal, junior Ianis Teixeira made his first collegiate start and turned away one attempt.

LAST TIME OUT
On a day filled with firsts for the Suffolk men's soccer team, the Rams were up against one of the stronger teams in the nation in Husson. Suffolk put together a complete game filled with edge of your seat moments, but ultimately fell to the Eagles, 3-2, Tuesday afternoon at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

GET TO KNOW THE GATORS
Pine Manor suffered a 4-0 setback to the Rams' fellow GNAC member Rivier Wednesday night.  The Gators were able to get nine shots on target paced by three from Daniel Alanis and two apiece from Jacob Curran and Gary Stanley, but were unable to find the back of the net. Oscar Estrada saw all the action in between the pipes for Pine Manor and recorded 12 saves in the defeat.    

#RAMSFANFEST
Suffolk fans are invited to be a part of history Saturday, Sept. 12 as the Rams host their first soccer doubleheader at its new home turf, East Boston Memorial Stadium. The first Rams Fan Fest kicks off with a celebratory ceremony of Suffolk's partnership with East Boston before the women's soccer team hosts Lasell at 1:45 p.m., followed by the men's team battling Mount Ida at 4:30 p.m. The event begins at 12:30 p.m. 

LOOKING AHEAD
Suffolk remains on the road as it travels to Salve Regina Thursday, Sept. 10 for a 3:30 p.m. match.
