The Suffolk University Hockey is off to a 2-0 start to the 2014-15 season with victories over Assumption College and Salve Regina University.

Sophomore Stanton Turner (San Francisco, Calif.) was named to the ECAC Northeast Weekly honor roll on Monday November 4th as he scored a pair of goals in Suffolk's 3-2 win over Assumption College to kick of the new season.

Sophomore Danyil Medvedev (Boston, Mass.) also earned weekly honor roll selection this past week as he scored the game winning goal with 4:36 remaining in regulation as Suffolk topped Salve Regina 3-2 in their home opener in Charlestown this past Saturday.

Suffolk will be back in action with a pair of road conference games to round out this week before hosting Becker College on Saturday November 22nd at Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink in Charlestown. Faceoff is set that evening for 7:10pm and will be part of Gold Fever night as gold Suffolk Athletics t-shirts will be handed out to those in attendance.
