Men's Golf Unveils 2021 Spring Slate

2020-21 SUFFOLK MEN'S GOLF SCHEDULE

BOSTON – Following the cancellation of the 2020 fall seasons due to the COVID-10 pandemic, Suffolk men's golf coach Ed McMellen announced the schedule for the Rams' 2021 spring slate.

This announcement follows the Commonwealth Coast Conference's March 3 announcement on approval for spring season conference competition, which includes a championship for men's golf.

Ove a five-day span, Suffolk is set for a pair of invitational that will prep for the CCC Championships, which are on tap April 25-26 at the Beverly Golf Course.

The Rams campaign gets underway Thursday, April 8 at the George Wright Golf Club in Hyde Park at their own invite, Suffolk Invitational. The blue-and-gold will be joined on the Boston course by Endicott, Gordon and the University of New England.

Five days later, on Tuesday, April 13, Suffolk will get its first go on what will be the conference championship course, Beverly Golf Club, when it tees off at the Endicott Invitational. Joining the Rams on the North Shore will be the Fighting Scots, Nor'Easters and the hosts Gulls.

From there the Rams will wrap up its schedule with its first go for the CCC Crown April 25-26. The two-day event will be posted by Endicott.

Spectators will not be allowed at any indoor and outdoor Suffolk Athletics events, including students, faculty or staff not competing or working the contest. The no-spectator policy will allow Suffolk Athletics game management staff to focus on maintaining the health and safety to those participating in the event. The no-spectator policy is a conference-wide initiative.
