Men’s Golf Spring to Tee Off in 6th Annual Spring Series

MEN'S GOLF SCHEDULE

BOSTON – Head Coach Ed McMellen has announced that Suffolk men's golf will compete in the Sixth Annual Spring Series hosted by Rhode Island College, UMass Dartmouth and Johnson & Wales. The Rams have competed in the three-invitational event since its inaugural year in 2013.

The Spring Series is a combination of three, 36-hole events with the champion being determined by the cumulative team score for the trio of events – RIC Invitational, Hampton Inn Spring Invitational and the Wildcats Spring Invitational.

The first event of the series, the RIC Invitational, will tee-off April 6 in Warwick, Rhode Island, at the Valley Country Club. The teams will play 18 holes each day of the weekend.

On April 13-14, teams will play 36 holes at the Hampton Inn Invitational hosted by UMass Dartmouth at the Allendale Country Club in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

The series concludes and the champion will be crowned at the 36-hole, stroke play Wildcat Spring Invitational put on by Johnson & Wales at the Cranston Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Suffolk put together a fall season which featured the best finish at the GNAC Championships since 2014 as the team combined for a 640 card good for sixth.
