Men’s Golf to Compete in 5th Annual Spring Series

2017 MEN'S GOLF SPRING SCHEDULE 

BOSTON – The Suffolk men's spring schedule features the three-event 5th Annual Spring Series hosted by Rhode Island College, UMass Dartmouth and Johnson & Wales head coach Ed McMellen released Friday afternoon. 

The Spring Series is a combination of three, thirty-six hole events with the Champion being determined by the cumulative team score from the trio of events – RIC Invitaitonal, Hampton Inn Spring Invitational and Wildcats Spring Invitational. 

The first event of the series, the RIC Invitational, will tee-off March 31 in Warwick, Rhode Island, at the Valley Country Club. Over two days the teams will play 18 holes. 

On April 7-8, teams will play 36 holes at the Westport Hampton Inn Spring Invitational hosted by UMass Dartmouth at the Allendale Country Club in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. 

The series wraps up April 22-23 at the Cranston Country Club in Cranston, Rhode Island, for a 36-hole, stroke play at JWU's Wildcat Spring Invitational.
