BOSTON – With three invitationals in the books, the Suffolk men's golf team turns its attention to the championship portion of its schedule. This weekend the Rams will take the links at The Ranch Golf Club with the best of New England vying for the ECAC Division III New England Golf Championship crown. Springfield College will serve as host to the championship event.

LAST TIME OUT
Marcos Baistrocchi carded an 88 to lead the Suffolk golf team to a team score of 362 to take third-place at the Emmanuel Invitational quad-match at the George Wright Golf Course Wednesday afternoon.

The Rams were 10 strokes behind the invitational's host and winner, Emmanuel, who put together a team score of 352. Mitchell took second with 358 with Suffolk finishing third at 362. Daniel Webster's 364 score rounded out the teams who took to the par 70 course.

THE COURSE
Sited on a former country retreat of the Crane Paper Company, The Ranch Golf Club's course lays over 4,983 acres and is a 72-par course.

A YEAR AGO
Suffolk went up against the top 22 New England teams a year ago and turned in a 17th-place performance anchored by Matt Rosenberg who finished in tie for 51st after carding 171.
