
BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball was lights out from downtown to hand Curry a 90-42 Conference of New England (CNE) setback Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

HOW IT HAPPEEND
From a 10-8 ball game, Suffolk sprang ahead double figures on an 11-0 run and never looked back. That lead grew to 52-18 at the half.
The Rams did not let up in the second set of 20 minutes as they extended the distance to as many as 48, and blossomed to as many as 48, which remained at the final buzzer, 90-42.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Nick Verdile anchored the shooting showcase as the sophomore finished with a game-high 21 on a 7-for-9 showing from behind-the-arc. He added four rebounds, two steals and one assist.
- Devin Dzikas was a spark off the bench with 17 points on a 5-for-8 showing from 3-point land with two rebounds and one assist to his credit as well.
- Keenan Robertson recorded 15 points, all in the first half, on a 6-for-9 effort from the floor that included a 3-for-6 effort on the long ball. The senior's stat line featured six caroms, two helpers and two takeaways as well.
- Cole LeVangie also notched 15 points behind a 6-for-9 day from the field to go along with six boards, five dimes, two steals and one swat.
- As a team, Suffolk shot 50.0 percent (18-36) from behind-the-arc and 56.5 percent (35-62) on the afternoon.
- The Rams outrebounded the Colonels 47-27.
- Suffolk took advantage of Curry's 16 turnovers and turned them into 30 points.
- The Rams also played the run game with 17 points in transition.

- Suffolk improved to 37-7 all-time against Curry.
