BOSTON – Suffolk men's basketball heads out on the road for the first time in 2022-23 Wednesday, Nov. 16 when it makes the trip to Colby Sawyer for a 7 p.m. match up.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's basketball lifted the lid on its 77th season in dynamic fashion as the Rams became just the fourth team in program history to surpass the 100-point mark in the first game of the season with a 105-65 triumph over Salem State Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. A dozen players poured in at least two points to help the blue-and-gold achieve the 40-point victory.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk brings an unblemished 1-0 mark to the Granite State after defeating Salem State 105-65 in it season opener Saturday. 

Keenan Robertson paced the Rams in game one with a 30-point, nine-rebound performance. Three other players produced double figures in game one in Cole LeVangie (15), Liam Cunnie (13) and Conor Creane (12). LeVangie helped Robertson on the glass with seven caroms to his credit. Aidan Sullivan set up Suffolk's offense as the floor general dished out eight dimes.  

CHARGERS CATCH UP
Colby Sawyer is 0-2 after falling in a pair of outings on its trip to Virginia Beach. The Chargers dropped a 73-46 decision to Virginia Wesleyan before losing to Pfeiffer, 77-70.  

Two players average double figures in scoring in Conor Kelly (10.5 ppg) and Kevin Cummings (10.0 ppg). Kadir Arca and Omar Boone have added 8.0 ppg to the offense each. 

Kelly also leads the way on the glass with 7.5 rpg to his credit to pace the Chargers 31.5 rpg effort. Arca and Terrence Harvey Jr. share second on the squad with 4.0 rpg apiece.
