BOSTON – The Suffolk men's basketball team will be in front of its home crowd for the first time in 2019 when it welcomes Regis to Regan Gymnasium for a non-conference clash Wednesday, Jan. 9. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's basketball team overcame a 14-point deficit and played its way through 21 lead changes and seven ties for an edge of your seat 68-66 victory over Beantown rival UMass Boston Thursday night at the Clark Athletic Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk comes into the mid-week matchup following back-to-back wins that put the Rams at 7-5 on the season. 

The trio of Thomas Duffy (14.6 ppg), Brendan Mulson (13.2 ppg) and Michael Hagopian (12.3 ppg) continue to anchor the Rams' well-balanced 77.4 ppg offense. Alex Jacovides and Steven DiPrizio add sparks to the offense as well with the sophomore and junior providing 9.2 ppg and 7.6 ppg, respectively.

DiPrizio is the top rebounded for Suffolk with the 6-foot-6 forward pulling down 5.8 rpg. Mulson adds 5.2 rpg to the Rams' 37.2 rpg effort, while Duffy chips in 4.6 rpg.

PRIDE POINTS
Regis dropped back-to-back decision in the New Year to head into Wednesday night 5-8 overall. 

Ademola Afonja and Shawn Wedderburn are the top threats both offensively and defensively for the Pride. The former holds a team-best 18.4 ppg to go with 6.0 rpg, while the latter provides a team-high 7.9 rpg and 10.2 ppg.
