RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to return to the win column as the Rams won their season opener, defeating Brandeis, 75-67, in front of its home fans, but have slipped on the road in the last four meetings to enter conference competition 1-4 on the year.

Thomas Duffy has had a standout sophomore season thus far as the guard has dropped 20-plus points in all, but one of Suffolk's games this year. Duffy averages 20.4 ppg on a 48.6 connection rate from the floor and is shooting 54.5 percent behind the arc. Junior Michael Hagopian joins Duffy in double digits with 13.4 ppg.

A trio of Rams help the team's 28.2 rpg in Kevin Querusio (4.6 rpg), George Grillakis (4.4 rpg) and Hagopian (4.0 rpg).

MONKS MENTIONABLES
Saint Joseph's (Maine) has sandwiched wins around two losses to enter Saturday's showdown at 2-2 overall. The Monks are coming off a 59-53 victory over Southern Maine to prep for their GNAC opener.

Ian Mileikis and Darian Berry anchor the Monks' 71.3 ppg offense with 16.5 ppg and 12.0 ppg, respectively. The pair help the effort on the glass with the former chipping in 4.5 rpg and the latter adding 5.8 rpg, but its Jack Casale's 7.0 rpg that lead the way.
